The past meets the present at the Alutiiq Museum - Kodiak's Alaska Native culture center where visitors can explore 7,500 years of Alutiiq heritage. See ancient artifacts, discover history, and learn how Alutiiq traditions continue.

The museum cares for more than 250,000 objects representing all eras of Alutiiq history.

The museum displays artifacts, photographs, and contemporary artwork.

Museum programs provide opportunities to participate in archaeological field work, study the Alutiiq language, and work with Alaska Native artists.

The Museum Store shares the work of Alutiiq, Alaska Native, and Alaskan artists and carries unique gifts - artwork, books, Alutiiq language materials, jewelry, toys and logo merchandise.
